Freedom House, since 1974, specializes in the treatment and counseling of individuals who have turned to the misuse of alcohol and drugs as an escape from coping with reality of day to day life. Their addiction lead them to problems in their personal relationships, family life, and employment as well. Feeling of fear, depression, and uselessness are common.
The Freedom House offers residential treatment program that requires at least 30 days minimum. Clients are to remain on campus during residential treatment program. Also, chemical free living centers are available for clients who have completed a residential program. This offers clients an opportunity to re-establish themselves back into the work force and responsible living. Each client is also required to continue with out patient treatment and develop an outside support group.
Also detoxification services are available at the Freedom House as well. Our Detox Specialists will determine the appropriate treatment of care. Observational Detoxification is done on site lasting two to three days. Clients are monitored closely by the Detox Specialists.
The family program also provides information and education to the families of the chemically dependent person. All visitors are required to attend group. Therefore, we believe that it is essential for families to begin developing healthy relationships with the recovering person prior to discharge.
The Freedom House Programs can be designed to meet specific needs of individuals that are affected by feelings and problems brought on by substance abuse. A telephone call to Freedom House is all that is required to initiate application for admission. Our intentions are to explain the nature of the illness, define the twelve-step program, provide group counseling and help develop a relapse prevention plan. We feel those who put forth an effort in working this program stand a better chance of achieving sobriety and recovery for living a responsible, productive life in society.
